This trolling rod is loaded with upgraded features at a really reasonable price. It is built for bluefin tuna but can also be used for large sharks, blue and black marlin and swordfish. It has a monster backbone that will raise the biggest baddest 1000 lb. tuna out there. It's a 2 piece rod with a composite butt section with a fighting gimbal and rubber cap. The composite butt section contains a huge machined aluminum alloy reel seat. It'll accommodate a 130 size trolling reel. It has a full set of 5 roller guides plus a roller tip top. The thread work is fantastic and it comes with a black canvas rod cover to store it.
